The Green Primrose Hill

Mondays and wednesdays are quite nice. Being "off" from school those days means you can spend them in lovely Primrose Hill. That's what I did yesterday and in the evening me and Johanna went to a birthday party in central LDN.

Neon Inspiration

Sort of decided today that I want to work with neon colours in my magazine. Think it'll look nice with the spreads that I'm thinking about having. And now I just read about this exhibition in Beijing by Olafur Eliasson and Ma Yansong where "The audience enters a seemingly endless misty space, where colour emanates from fluorescent tubes in different shades." How cool doesn't that sound? Wish I was there.

Back in Camden and London. The weather is really nice. When I came yesterday the sun was shining and I could walk with all my heavy bags up Qeens Crescent in just a t-shirt. Lovely.

Nice stuff at Magasin 3

Yesterday I went to see three exhibitions at Magasin 3 in Sthlm. It was Tom Friedman's Up in the Air, Maria Nepomuceno's Always in a Spiral and Sol Lewitt's Seven Wall Drawings. It was some really beautiful and nice things.

Application for a Design Lover

One of the best magazines for design/fashion/art/architecture is Wallpaper*. They have now made an application for Iphone/Ipod Touch. Read about and look at new art and design stuff, images and videos. A great way to find out whats new in the design world. And a really nice way to spend your time on the tube or bus. All for free.

Seuder

If you're not in London at LCC, which you should. You can be in Sthlm and walk around at Södermalm in the sun and have loads of coffee with your friend Lisa.

Stockholm until Sunday

Have to stay another week in Stockholm because of the vulcano. Will be back on sunday afternoon. Ill try to work on my FMP during this week. At least the sun is shining.

Lisa 28 år

Lisa hade födelsedagskalas/inflyttningsfest igår i sin fina lägenhet på Kungsholmen. Massa vin, tårta och kakor, prat om tv-program man såg som liten och Singstar. Kalas helt enkelt. Finast var att Lisa, Linda och Emelie hade klätt sig i liknande ränder.

Sthlm Weekend Market och Kaffe

Igår var jag med syster och Joen på Stockholm Weekend Markets premiärdag på Gärdet. Var riktigt ruttet faktiskt. Hur kan man utge sig för att man vill öppna en Portobello Market i Sthlm när man smäller upp tio stånd med struntsaker. Och ett korvstånd. Snacka om att ge folk höga förväntningar. Hur som helst gick vi och åt pizza istället och mötte senare upp Linda och Henry som hade varit på teater. Mys på fik.

Fashion

Found this picture. Don't know where and how. But I did. Think its quite funny. Makes me happy in a way.

Before and After

Behöver man verkligen någon utbildning som frisör? Blev sjukt nöjd med min klippning på lillebror Erik i alla fall :D Snygget bror om man säger.



Spent friday night home with my brother and cut his hair. I am very, very proud. Oh yes!

Twins

The magazine called INDIE has done a nice reportage about twins. Both with photographs and illustrations.

Jag och cykeln på äventyr

Idag lånade jag mammas cykel och åkte på lite äventyr i den fantastiska vårsolen. Första stoppet blev lunch på en somalisk restaurang i Rinkeby med mamma. Jätteportioner fick vi och det smakade mycket fint. Nästa stopp skulle bli Tensta Konsthall men när jag kom dit upptäckte jag att det var stängt så fick fota lite tjusiga målningar på väggen utanför istället. Sista racet blev till Vinsta för Läkarmissionen. Där hitta jag en spännande liten bok från 1966 med illustrationer av en polsk designer vid namn Jan Mlodezeniec som kostade 5 kr. Värt!






Today Ive been around on my mothers bike in the spring sun in a suburb in Stockholm. Went for some lunch with mum and then went to a charity shop where I bought a small book from 1966 with images of art by the polish designer Jan Mlodezeniec.

The Folded Alphabet

Love this ABC-book where the alphabet is folded in 3D. Excellent paper work.

Goldheart Assembly

Vill tipsa om min gamla Londonvän Jakes nya band Goldheart Assembly som nydligen släppte sin nya skiva. Mycket bra och har fått finfina recensioner i storstan. Bland annat från The Guardian och NME. För den som gillar Fleet Foxes och Mumford & Sons. Hoppas verkligen på att få se dem nu i vår.
